Come see Priory Theater’s middle school actors as they perform crazed characters in not one, but two comedies at once! This play-within-a-play format includes Murder on the Island, written by Edith Weiss and Who Killed Tommy "Two Toes"?, written by John Sugden.
Set in the 1940's, the plays begin as the Audience enters the Theater. A gangster named Tommy “Two Toes” is producing “Murder on the Island” so his girlfriend Trixie can play the lead role. But when Trixie disappears and Tommy is murdered, the audience is asked to pick the murderer and help solve the crime.
Meanwhile “Murder on the Island” performs, set on an isolated old English island hotel and featuring a group of zany characters, including a snooty butler, aging actress, creepy gardener, unstable doctor, karate-chopping Girl Scouts, and many more. They find themselves in absurd and deadly situations in this fast-paced, hilarious Agatha Christie-style murder mystery.
