Priory Theater is proud to present one of the most powerful American dramas of all time. Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for best play, and set in the time of the Salem Witch Trials, a group of young girls, to avoid punishment for something they’ve done, begin to accuse adults in town of witchcraft. Led by a 17 year-old girl with a hidden agenda, they are believed and, as many adults are arrested and a few people in the town race to uncover the truth, the community begins to unravel with lies, accusations, greed and murder. This is a passionate production with a powerful message. Mark your calendars and don't miss it!
