SUMMARY:
A man invites the audience to listen to his favorite musical record when suddenly the record roars to life: a starlet is leaving the stage to marry a wealthy tycoon, her producer is up to his eyeballs in debt to the mob, the mobsters are disguised as "pastry chefs" with a penchant for punning, a ludicrously dim-witted chorus girl is gunning for he starlet's part and a ludicrous Latin lothario runs smack into the sharp-witted, sarcastic and somewhat tipsy Drowsy Chaperone.
